As far as a hitch, you can use any 05+

This is the one I installed on my '11

Drop of the draw bar depends on the trailer.

I believe the changes where merely front end, Doors, Box, ect are all the same. Woman at my work bought a 08 after seeing my 05. Same color and a club cab lol

But other then the front it looks the same.

You should be able to pull from any 05 and up. The 2nd gens didn't use the same style of hitch so far as I know.

this is exactly what I did with mine.

I bought the curt kit from rock auto.


one thing to note: you'll need a 1/2" allen socket, that you can torque to 200 ft/lbs. I got mine at harbor freight in a kit of such sockets.
