Thought I would introduce myself. Been lurking the forums for a while. I haven't posted all to much, but that may change soon as I have a lot of mod's in mind for my truck and may need a bit of help along the way.

Anyway's, I have a silver '06 Dakota (Quad Cab, 4.7, SLT). Got it about 8 Months ago now.

Upgrades as of now include:
-3" PA Body Lift
-K&N CAI
-Waiting on a 2" leveling kit and 2" rear blocks, So those should be on soon.
-Bought new Cooper at/3's back in Aug. (Great Tires). Although I am already looking to upgrade. Want some 33" Cooper STT's.

Also, plan to buy the JMR suspension lift in either 6" or 4" if it becomes available.

Here's a couple pics, my truck is almost never clean, haha. I do a ton of hunting and spend a lot of time in muddy field's/roads. I did just run it through the carwash a couple days ago, before that you couldn't even tell it was silver.

-3" PA Body Lift

did u pay to install it, or did u do it? local off road place wants $3000 for the kit and install. if it was suspension i would be all over it

also whats the deal with the possible JMR suspension lift? how do u know its a possibility to come out? same local off road place said there just isnt enough interest for anyone to make one

I installed the kit my self, well me and a couple buddies. As long as you're some what mechanically inclined, you should be able to do it. No real special tools are needed, basic wrench's, sockets, breaker bar, torque wrench, and a die grinder should do it.

$3000 seems extremely steep for a body lift install, even steep for a suspension lift install imo. It took me about a solid day to install it, that was with a lot of beer runs

As far as the JMR lift, I don't know for sure if it will be released. But it looks hopeful seeing as they have a prototype on a truck and are conducting tests on it. I can only hope they follow through with it and release it to the public like they said they will.

Yeah I love the look's of it. But if i end up keeping it, i'm gunna fab up some plates with bolts so i can remove it from the top, without climbing under the truck and taking it off if i need to haul something big, or go on trips, etc.
