lookin for 4.7L flex fuel shorty headers!!!!

Default lookin for 4.7L flex fuel shorty headers!!!!

hello im rather new to this forum and id like to know if theres any headers out there for the 4.7 flex fuel? my father ownes a rwd slt 08 dakota and has always wanted a full exhaust system for it so thats what im finaly getting him this xmas haha so full systems would be nice to know about aswell!! nothing crazy loud... hes 65 and wants something that'll stay quiet with a slight rumble at idle but roar at really high rpm! any help would be appreciated thanks

welcome to the forum! As far as headers go, there are some out there but the gains from them are not worth the cost imo(Gibson and JBA make them, @$600 for the pair). The factory manifolds are pretty free flowing. What is it your trying to gain? The major restriction in these exhaust systems is the y-pipe. You would be better off having a shop fab up a better y-pipe, removing the resonator(s) (some trucks have 2) and installing a good performance muffler. If money is no object, headers, free flowing cats (spintech) and duals can be done, but it would be crazy expensive (from what I have seen).
