Default Help odd noise

Hi,

I just purchased 2 weeks ago an 2007 dodge Dakota 4.7L I love the truck the only issue I have is when I get between 55 and 75km and my foot has pressure on the gas just enought that my speed is increasing very slowly it makes an odd windy kinda sound I can't tell where it's coming from when it rains it hard to hear but on a dry day it's Fairly loud and easy to hear. When I step on it it doesn't make this sound or if I do they say thing at higher speeds it doesn't do this I am. Not sure what this could be so if you have any clew or advice please let me know.

Thank you
Jason

Do you have wind deflectors?

If so, they make a vibrating sound once they start ungluing. I just recently reglued mine

welcome to the forum! noises like that are hard to track down. Can you open the windows and try to find out it its coming from the front or rear at least? Then you can begin to narrow it down. do you have a cold air intake?

is it that low pitched hum in the beginning? if so, it sounds wind related I would check all the weather stripping/molding around the windshield and windows, the plastic cover over the cowl, maybe the wipers are causing it?

Can you tell us at what point exactly in the video, minutes and seconds, it starts and stops? I'm hearing something, but I'm not sure if it would be considered "a few seconds a little bit into the video".

Thanks.

I have very poor audio on my laptop, so I couldn't really hear anything from your video.
However, from experience with my old Dakota, there are many things that can cause odd noises from wind. My truck used to make an awful humming sound between 63 and 71mph and it turned out to be the window when it was closed.
Check everything and anything that might catch the wind. Maybe check the rear diff to see if it's filled because that can sometimes whine
