Dealer actually fixed something the first time....
Well I'm pretty happy. My local dealer actually fixed something right the first time. Either I got a good tech or they remember me from when they lemon'd my 2005 because they couldn't fix anything.
Two issues.
1) Transmission shifted like ***. Truck always seemed to be in the wrong gear, hanging shifts, surging, bucking or hesitation during acceleration, etc... It just never felt right. Well apparently a TSB came out a month or so ago to address these exact issues. They flashed it and man what a difference. It shifts just as good as my 2000 Dakota used to. Actually enjoy driving it again.
2) Shimmy in rear duing breaking. I would have thought after a few years this problem would have been sorted out. But apparently not. Dealership didn't goof around. They went ahead and tossed in new axles AND brake drums. Smooth as silk now.
They may have redeemed themselves. If they keep it up I might be tempted to give them some more profitable non-warranty maintenance work.

Sorry for lack of details. All repairs under warranty.
Truck is 2011 Quad, 2WD, 4.7, 3.92 axle.
I had an 05 and it had the same shimmy under braking. Seems axles and drums were the norm back then. I would have thought they sorted this issue after six years of production on this model.
History on the dealer.... Same dealer kept giving a "no problem found" on my 2005 for an exhaust manifold leak. You could hear it cold and I think us Dak owners are familiar enough to know what it is. Dealer acted like it didn't exist. They finally fixed it on the fifth visit but by that time I had already sent my letter of intent to Chrysler regarding failure to repair. Dealer fixed it after notification so that pretty much sealed their fate and I had Chrysler buy it back. There were other issues like airbag light, check engine light, crappy shocks, etc.... The poor dealer service left me with no confidence in the product so I had Chrysler buy it back in late 2006.
Ended up with a used 2003 RC w/ 4.7 and a stick a few months later. Kept it until around June when I picked up this 2011.

Thanks for the info.
I only ask because my '11 auto shifts poorly. I, however, think every automatic shifts poorly so I assumed it was par for the course. I will look into it and see if the TSB applies to my vehicle.
I also have a shimmy in the rear, but it is not under braking and only really noticeable going 60 mph. I will live with it until I have time to take it to the dealer.

My brothers girlfriends grandfather owns all the Steele Dealerships (GM, Chrysler, Ford, ect.) So I think I may see if I can get mine looked at and fixed (if needed) for free

There is a way to tell, like one size will have a M and the other wont on the number on it.
