I saw for sale 2010 wrangler sport 18inch stock rims with stock tires in my area on craigslist. I was wondering if anyone knew if they would fit my dakota with rubbing or anything. I heard somewhere that jeep rims are the same size as ours but I could always be wrong.. and usually am. Lol
Thanks

You need to be careful with this, different models have different patterns and spacing. I think the CJ was 5 x 5.5", the YJ (which I have) has 5 x 4.5", and at least the early TJs were the same as the YJ. Other jeep models may match what you need for the dakota, but this is easy to check - just do an internet search using your favorite search engine & you'll find several documents that have rim specs listed for most manufacturers & their models.

You can adapt the bolt pattern, but you'll "push" the wheel further outboard. The thinnest adapters I've seen are around 1.25", so that's how much further out each wheel would be. I use wheel adapters/spacers on my YJ to deliberately push the wheels further out. With 35" wheels, the tires rub on the springs with the offset I have on the rims & it was cheaper for me to buy 4 used adapters to push the wheels out rather than buy new rims with different offset. The adapters I selected were 1.5" thick and do a good job.
