I dunno if it was at my house or while I was out. I don't double park, I don't leave my truck hanging out. If someone hates me I dunno why, I bend over backwards to help people (Just rebuilt the motor in an 06 Civic for my buddies girlfriend no labor charge). Guess I'll have to take it in and see what can be done, truck needs a good bath anyways.

If it was someone being malicious against me I would have much rathered a punch to the face or a kick in the junk. That stuff will heal, my truck won't.

I'd have to think long and hard (no pun) about chosing between a kick in the groin or getting keyed...lol....

Seriously, if you have a Maaco, they repair things like that. Some people hate them, but the one by me does a great job (painted my sons car, turned out really good). Or car dealers have body shops too you could take it and get an estimate.

wouldnt it be nice if we could hook up an msd coil to the body ground and have it charge the painted panels...when the key hit metal they'd never do it again

Wow that's awful man, I'd be beyond livid if that happened to me. Anyone who keys a vehicle is below scum, I don't care why they did it. If you have a problem with someone you take it up with them or take it to an authority you don't pull spineless crap like that.

Rapta you have the right to your own opinion but it saddens me to see any automotive enthusiast cheer on the keying of someone's vehicle.

You might want to head to the auto parts store and pick up a clear coat marker and hit the bare metal spots just to keep developing rust from damaging any more than it has.

mine got keyed a couple years ago on a roadtrip at a truckstop...i guess someone didnt like how i passed them or they were one of the individuals i gave the finger to after passing and getting passed by them about 6 times because they dont know how to maintain speed....dickless people, i know if i have an issue with someone i will tell them to their face. the only time i damaged someones car was after the parked against the side of my cadillac, there was just a scratch but the got their drivers window kicked in good.

I had someone key a huge tic tac toe on my hood. It looked really bad but I took it to a detail shop and they buffed out 95%. You could not see the rest if you were over a couple of feet away. So I lived with what was left.

But anywho, find a detail shop, that's your best bet
Are you implying that it is somehow okay to key a vehicle because of they way it is parked?

There is no justifiable reason for keying any vehicle. It is a childish and otherwise conduct unbecoming of any civilized person. If you have a problem with people's parking, do the adult thing. Either realize that people are going to act in ways that you may not think is proper as that is part of living in a free(ish) society, or confront them about it civilly.
