Hey everyone,
I locked my keys in the truck this afternoon. Thankfully the truck was not running at the time. Got out to open the hood and the door slammed shut in the wind, somehow the doors were locked. Grrr. Its like -21 Celsius here and was freezing trying to find a way in. I called roadside chrysler canada. They sent a tow truck and opened it within seconds. Thank god for roadside

Man roadside asst can be a life saver, I don't even know what -21 feels like.
My mom used to have this magnetized key holder so that she could keep a spare under her car in case of anything. i should get one of those.

Yeah funny you said that. I was thinking the same thing. They still have them. As long as theres some metal on the cars to hold on to lol. Luckily there is metal still on trucks. Cars not so much. Mostly plastic HAHA

I found one of those hide a key things back in the rear wheel wells on the frame when I was putting on my body lift. It had two random keys in it. So now it has a spare key to my tailgate in it
Record Breaker
I had a local hardware store cut me a new key, used my bench grinder to knock off the black plastic on the end so it would be smaller and have it tucked in my wallet. I can't start the truck with it but I sure can unlock the door if the need ever arises.

Should be around -5F. Pretty damn cold but not horrible by Canada's standards. One of my friend's dad was up north snowmobiling a couple years ago and had a bottle of VO freeze and shatter cuz he put it outside to keep it "chilled". He said it was -42F that night. Brrrrr
Roadside comes in handy. Hope they didn't leave you out there too long.
My wife locked ours up at a shopping center quite a few years ago. I was broke at the time, no phone and 40 miles away from my nearest buddy. So I walked into the dollar store and I'd be damned, there was a bin of slim-jims for $1 each.
