The normal oil change only changes about 1/2 the fluid but I do mine every 30k miles so I feel like it averages out. If you want it all changed, take it to a place that can perform a "hot oil flush" They disconnect one of the lines and connect it to a machine that can flush the entire transmission and torque converter. It's a good thing to do if you've overheated the transmission by towing, or the fluid looks/smells burnt for any reason.

jkeaton - I see your point on the setup there, pipes are pipes right? .. add in an intake with that and best guess, what would you say im really lookin at pros/cons of it?

kinda what i was thinking. i do tow alot in the summer, so this is probably my best bet. i know some places filter and recycle the same fluid, im way to sketchy on that. id rather replace it all with some royal purple and be done with it.

BTW, my flow master was awsome with the stock intake, but man oh man *makes the Tim Allen obnoxious grunt* after my k&n CAI i cream my pants every time i hit the gas.

the day after i bought the truck i had the flowmaster put on and both resinators and muffler taken off. passes NYS inspection, so im good. sounds awsome when im pulling the race car lol
