I called Hypertech yesterday: apparently a 52001 WILL work for 05 and 06 3.7L dakotas. The tech on the phone had verified this...but it felt like he was still somewhat "unsure".

I wish Hypertech would jump back on this thread and clear up some foggy-ness of the product.

I would love to purchase one, and I don't have a problem buying a new 52501, but if I can score a used 52001 (and it does the exact same thing as a new 52501) then I would like to know if it is FOR SURE compatible with my 06 3.7L.

Hi,Im interested in this programmer for my truck. Several months ago I saw that you offered this for the '07 and newer 3.7L Dakotas but not '06s. I see your site now list one for the '06 as the same one for the '07's and newer. Is this correct that it works with the '06 now as well?

Thanks, West

I picked up the hypertech programmer for my truck a few weeks ago. I had been laid up for awhile after surgery but just started driving again this week. I'm definately satisfied with the max energy programmer. the only thing that would be better is if I could adjust shift points and firmness. The website says you can but then when I programmed it that wasn't an option for the Dak. I will definately say it helped out with the low end. All in all if you have the extra $400 its a good buy.

Well that is nice to know, our V6 engines need as much down low as we can get.

What settings do you have yours at? When I was playin around with it I put the rev limiter up 300 and I had too much air coming through the exhaust and I was hitting 70mph in second gear. I have it currently at -100 and I'm not very happy with it so hopefully you could help me get the best out of it. Thanks
