Default Upgrade suggestions

Hey guys i have a 05 4.7 slt and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what to do to my truck. So far I have a k&n intake and will hopefully have a daystar leveling kit on by the end of the day if its not too cold.
I do enjoy beating up on the truck, it's no pavement queen, but still would like more power and be able to keep it as a daily driver.
Thanks guys

Welcome to the forum!! yep, what Steve said....most def the superchips is the best bang for the buck you can do without going into major mods to the engine. Post up some pics of your truck....

Sounds good, a leveling kit is a great way to start your mod list. I don't even have one yet

while your in there, be sure to check the ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar end links and struts. Any issues, the time to replace is when you have it apart for the leveling kit. These trucks eat front end parts. If you do replace anything, get good aftermarket parts (moog), dont replace with factory junk.

do your self a favor and save up for gears. Your mod list doesnt say, so I am assuming you have 3.55's

Going to 4.10s or 3.92s will make a bigger difference than any 2 of the above listed mods combined.

The superchips will make the biggest noticeable improvement in butt dyno power.

Might as well use the power you're already making right?

A 3.55 is just too long for our trans/motors...

i wish gear swaps were that easy....setting backlash is a pia. mechanically it looks like a pretty straight forward process to swap, but getting that backlash set right is what worries me. I want to do gears and lsd. but it costs too much for the install.
