my chevy runs threw the radiator before the tranny cooler, came like that stock, and samew ith the ram hemi....

I mentioned earlier in the thread that I bypassed the cooler in the rad completely. I did that because the rad mounted cooler failing is what caused the tranny to fail. I have been told that this failure is fairly common in the Dakota and other Dodge products, so I wanted to avoid that happening again.

u should put an electric fan on the front of that thing with a temp guage, that sounds cool..... and like a good idea.

Sorry to bring up an old post but where do you get the quick disconnect fitting to go in the radiator to attach the cooler hose. I can't find anything at the auto parts store and they just stare at me. I don't want to have to cut the line and flare both ends. A part number or picture would be great
