Why do you need a c-clamp on the springs? There is no need to remove the center bolt.
very true. but loosening the bolt and re-tightening helped to break free the rusted bottom part thats attached to the axle. While doing so, I used a clamp.
I think we'll be good with 32" tires but not sure how wide we can go with that tho... might could squeeze in 33" with some major trimming. I'm not buying tires for another few months but my research has lead me to believe that 275 65 18 is a good choice for me when I do buy
i have stock rims now and theyre 7in wide the new rims i want are 8in wide.....
will i have axle problems?
did you replace the springs and shocks as a set or did you keep the old springs and replace the shocks
all he did was add lift blocks. the leaf springs are the same as he had before. the shocks come with the coil springs already installed. these are "load leveler" shocks.

you should not have axle problems by going to a wider wheel. you may have clearance issues but no axle problems that I am aware of.

I have the 18" rim with the 2.5" leveling kit and im 99% the biggest you can go without trimming is 265/65.....thats what i have and it JUSTS clears
