Is it odd that my 3.7 dakota tacks out at only 4,000 rpm?

Why do you drive so fast in reverse?

haha. Not that I drive fast, but sometime I require the extra power from the motor.

As far as the 4k rpm. I just did a drive. Hit the kick down and got it up to 5600 rpms. Im sure that issue is all good. I just need more info on the service bulletin for the reverse.

go to ur dodge dealership and ask them to plug ur vin into dealerconnect, tell them your problem should be free at no charge only if you complain about it, its a software update got mine right when it came out
