Default Hey guys with Ram wheels

Was the hub-bore on your ram wheels the same as the stockers? 78.1? Or was there a space around the hub, did you have to use hub-rings to fill in the gap?

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Gen Rams have the same centerbore as our 3rd Gen Dakota. Also the 2nd Gen Durango have the same centerbore too.
That's definitely a reason that I went in that direction, these were my 2nd set of Ram 20's. No hub centering rings needed.

But you have the size wrong, it's actually 77.8.

Thanks, that what I needed to know, and oh yea lol, 77.8. I should have known that since I made a thread about it a month or so ago. It was the wheel I was looking at at the time that was 78.1

I see your point but I would imagine w/o the bore adapters (when needed) it would create a "gap" and might be a wear point and possibly snap studs...

Dodge trucks come with hub centric wheels, so it makes sense to keep the wheels hub centric. If you don't use the hub centering rings to keep the wheel perfectly centered, you could have a vibration or shake as you're cruising down the road. Who knows what damage that could do after racking up some mileage. There are wheels that are lug centric, but you have to use the correct lugs. But with the rings installed, you are guaranteed to have the wheel centered.
