Default 07 Dodge Dakota lift?

I am looking into purchasing a 3" spacer for the front and a 1.5" block in the rear for my 2007 4.7L 4x4 Dakota and realize I will need to have the alignment re done. But I am wondering if this is to high of a kit will this do more damage to my truck? The truck is not driven hard just going to be on dirt roads on occasion but mainly on pavement. Please give me your thoughts?

yes there is a good chance that 3" is too much for the front, it puts too much wear and pressure on the front end components and causes them to wear out prematurely.

you may want to go with a 2" lift in the front max. Unless you are made of money and have memorized how to change ball joints and CV Axles.

3 is definitely too high for 4x4. We have rapezza joints that really don't like anything out of stock angles. If I were in your shoes, 2" max just like kota said. Some have gotten away with 2.5" and some preferred 1.5." But since you're also getting the blocks, I'd say 2" is perfect.

Shameless plug: Don't forget about the new 6" suspension lift from www.jackmyride.com!

I have the 2 inch level with 2 inch blocks in the rear and so far everything seems to be holding up as well as can be expected for a truck with nearly 90k on the odometer. However, a 3inch spacer in the front will have you breaking suspension components in a hurry.

I have a daystar kit in the front. No issues over 20K miles on it. Now the depressing rear sag is making me itch to add something in the back. How hard would one have to push the truck to get axle wrap if a 3" block kit was added on the rear?
