leak?
I'm kind of a diehard when it comes to stuff that needs to be done outside. All the auto repair stuff I've had to do has always happened in the winter months. I think I've gotten used to the frozen hands and runny nose while working lol.
for normajean, has it leaked since you wiped it down?
as per the running hot, I havent had that happen yet, the transmission is good, but the coolant looks low, took a picture of the reserve, i cleaned the hose and the ends, then i put a piece of cardboard under the front end and let the truck idle and reved it several times, and nothing, so i put the truck back in the garage and put the cardboard back under it. one thing i learned, is that a k&n intake is friggin loud

Pressure testers do work, I've used them once or twice. First time on my Ranger, diagnosed a crack in the radiator epoxy, and second time on my S10 which diagnosed a head gasket leak.
But other than that, trans cooler lines won't be hard at all to replace if that's what it turns out to be.
