Some people like creepers but I too have a pretty full garage so sometimes I have no-where to roll one really. I found that if you get a couple of those heavy-duty plastic office chair pads, (for rolling chairs) like $15 a piece from costco.. they are quite slick and very easy to slide on while under the vehicle. I just wipe them down after an oil change and hang them on my wall for next time.

I'm kind of a diehard when it comes to stuff that needs to be done outside. All the auto repair stuff I've had to do has always happened in the winter months. I think I've gotten used to the frozen hands and runny nose while working lol.

for normajean, has it leaked since you wiped it down?

Pressure testers do work, I've used them once or twice. First time on my Ranger, diagnosed a crack in the radiator epoxy, and second time on my S10 which diagnosed a head gasket leak.

But other than that, trans cooler lines won't be hard at all to replace if that's what it turns out to be.

pressure testing will diagnos a leak, unless your leaking from the outside of the block on a pressure test, the best way to diagnos a head gasket is a block test.... 2 different testing kits.
