Default A few new "accessories"...

So, running out of mods decided to get an r/t cover for the 3rd brake light. Here's what I started out with.....night shaded third brake light:

Here's what I bought ($23 on amazon, brushed aluminum):

Here's what it looked like on the night shaded light:

Decided I did not like the "big" brushed aluminum look...so out came the spray can...Liked this much better:

Looks the same in the dark:

Yeah, so she's not a true R/T...but who knows that but us??? lol
e
Also installed new "helper springs" that gives me 2" lift in the rear end, Combined with my 2" spacers in the front, I have the "rake" again. Pics tomorrow. Needless to say, this was a PIA because the spring pack bolt "stuck" on the spring pad and it took me forever to figure out it was not a "through" bolt, but a stuck bolt..the head of the bolt just sits in a hole in the spring perch....

Looks sick! I know what you mean about that bolt...I was kicking the end of my axle like a mad man to get that bolt unstuck from the spring pad so I could put my blocks on.

ahhhh knew you got the R/T one haha looking good, Kent. I prefer the body color look as well. Excited to see pics of the truck's stance. I wonder if helper springs or blocks is a better decision..

Link for the helper springs? I am getting a travel trailer soon and don't want to use the lift blocks.

The bolts that come with this kit are way too long. I had to cut them off. Have not driven her yet. It was 1 am when I got done.

Glad to know I am not the only one who has that weird double bend/sag going on with the leafs after the perch plate.
