just a fair warning, this is what a dakota looks like with only rear blocks in... and these are only 1.5" blocks... looks kinda funny in my opinion...

Wow, imagine that look while slamming on the brakes!

On a side note, there is a 2" leveling kit 4/S right here on DF, $50 shipped.

2 inch leveling kit for 05+ Dakota

Yea that is a serious rake, well I'm gonna have to talk to my mechanic again see if he thinks I should leave the leveling kit in. But if he thinks it's just gonna cause more damage then I'll just have to have that much rake, which sucks but I can't afford new link, bushings and ball joint every year or so, but I'll let ya guys know how it turns out

Hello, I'm a new user. Ive been searching threads for a while, and I feel this is the best thread to ask a question rather than starting a whole new one. I have a 2" daystar lift on the front with ranchos. In the rear I have ranchos too, but I don't like how the rear sits so low now. Ive been wanting to lift the rear and am aware of the usual options. But: Will 2" lift shackles from a 02-08 ram 1500 fit on the gen 3 dakota? I'm not too excited about adding lift blocks. Any info much appreciated.

I'm not sure but I noticed you're from Boston and figured I would chime in and say hello and welcome! Good to see someone local on the forum
