Default StreetGlow L.E.D bulbs...

So, I got some StreetGlow 3157 L.E.D bulbs as a gift not too long ago and tried using them for my tail lights.. They work fine as tails but the brakes don't light up and I show a lamp out indicator. I'm thinking that the bulb doesn't draw enough voltage from the system which is making it think that there isn't a bulb at all, but I'm not sure.
Also, I think the truck actually takes 3057s instead but I'm not sure what difference that will make.. Any ideas on what I should do? I was thinking about just trashing the bulbs and moving on with life, but at like 10 bucks each I'd feel bad.

oh, and btw, they're supposed to be simple replacement bulbs. The Napa part number is SGL3157WH.

you need a load resistor to make them workl correctly. I could never get mine to work so I gave up. Some others on here have gotten them to work. Not me.
