Need Tire Help
I know there are a thousand threads for this topic but there's no way I'm look through all of them to get an answer. I am needing recommendations on tires for my 2wd dak? Some back ground: I live in central Indiana and do mostly road driving but work on a farm where I drive through corn field. I need something that is eco for roads but enough bite for dirt and mud.

"good" on the road, "awesome" in dirt, and "ok" in mud. (Hankook Dynapro A/T and BFG rugged trail)
"good" on the road, "f*cking awesome" in dirt, and "good" in mud (Goodyear Duratracs and BFG A/Ts)
"sh*t" on the road, "f*cking awesome" in dirt, and "f*cking awesome" in mud (any M/T)
"awesome" on the road, "ok" in dirt, and "f*cking stupid" in mud. (Most all season tires)
It sounds to me like you are looking for the first choice. Remember, in a 2WD there are three things that help you with traction: weight over the axle, tire choice, differential capability. If you have an open diff, get an automatic or selectable locker for serious traction.
