Default 07 Dakota engine wining noise

My wife's 07 Dakota with 4.7 v-8 is making a high pitched noise when turning the wheel, gets real loud going slow and turning the wheel to the left. I put a stethoscope on it and it seemed the Alternator Bearing was making all the noise. Of course this happened the day after I put brakes and rotors on so my wife thinks I am trying to kill her and that its the brakes...but its not.

I pulled over and listened and its coming from one of the pulleys and after the stethoscope I think that the alt bearing is the culprit but it was not making the noise very loud at the time. Does that seem right?-alternator bearing making noise when put under a little extra load from turning? Thanks

Sounds like your power steering pump if it is doing it when you are turning the wheel.

Yeah I thought so too but its not a power steering squeal. Its like a bearing metallic sound. Sounds like a high pitched dog whistle we can actually hear though! Hard to explain. I will have the wife turn the wheel while its running and listen with the stethoscope.

Maybe its the brakes after all! I do have a sound under the hood though. The loudest sound is when the wheels are turned sharp and going almost 0 with or without brakes on. Its piercing loud! Seems both front rotors or so are making all that noise. I just put rotors and Mopar pads on. I got the good rotors too. I anti-seize all the right places so there should not be any squeaking. Any advice? thanks a lot.
