This is the one that I have. I haven't played with it too much, the 91 tune gave a good seat of the pants boost.

Still absolutely loving this tuner.
I wonder how necessary the 91 octane is though?
Currently running 87, so I may switch it back to the tow tune.

i did the 91 for awhile and did not notice that much difference. I had the 87 with a custom trans tune, but then went to the towing tune again about 3 weeks ago and never looked back.

OK, looking for some clarity here . . . I am on the 87 tune and now that Spring has sprung (or is springing?) I am going to change it up. From all of these SC threads I am going to check out the vaunted tow tune (also, it's boating season coming up ) but the spread between 87 and 91 octane up here in the wilds of the frozen north is 15 cents/litre, which is what? 60 cents a gallon, give or take? We're currently paying OVER $1.50.litre for 91. 60 litres is $90. In real money. (heh-heh).

Somebody here just said you can run 87 on the tow tune . . . what is the Web-consensus on that?

I've been running the 91 tune for about a year but as soon as 91 went over $4 a gallon I switched back to the 87 tune and dropped the TM down to 4.8%. But now I might just have to try the tow tune.

I have been running the tow tune with 91.

I originally started with 93 on the performance tune, and found that the truck was the best at 91, over 87,89,or 93

This will vary for everyone due to temp, humidity, a/f mixture due to elevation.

Well 89 is better than 91. (We don't have 93 here).

Any others have tow with 87?
