Default 2009 Dodge Dakota headlights

4300 Hi I am new to the forum. I have been looking everywhere for some headlights for my truck but it seems like everywhere I look they only go up to 2007. If anyone knows where I can find a set of halo projector headlights with black housing I would love to know where to get them. The set I like is by SpecD Tuning I have seen a lot of people on here with them but I don't think they make them for a 2009. Please help me find them it will make my truck look so much better. Also if you know of a place that I can find the Bermuda black LED Tail lights for less than $300 would be great. Thank you in advance for the help.

Brad

This is the farthest I found under 300. I ordered from them twice and had good experiences for the most part.

These are actually OEM headlights but they have black inside instead of chrome. Doesn't look like not even the cheapest parts of the butthole of China have taken interest in aftermarket headlights for 08+

I am pretty sure those headlights are a stock option but mine aren't those. I am seriously considering doing the research to see if I could just switch out the front side panels so the Lights I want will fit, but from looking at pictures I think the 05-07 have a curve to them and hr 08 and up are more straight at the top where it bends.

yea they are way too different. you are looking at a full front end, bumper, fenders, hood, and grille, all mounting hardware to go with it.. assuming the front clip framework is the same.

I can only suggest getting the black option OEMs with some silverstars or HID for a different night look.

Another thing you might try is getting OEMs of your year, halos of my year and cracking themopen to see if you could work them together somehow.. but then it certainly won't be DOT approved. if you do inspections out there, they might catch it.

So I got curious and called a couple companies today after I saw a post from a vendor about a test fitting for some headlights on older dakotas. I spoke with SpecD Tuning and they said they are currently developing a headlight like the 05-07 style for 2008-2010 but did not have an ETA for a test fitting or anything. He did say that he knows I am not the first person to call about it so maybe if more people call about it they will see a need to get them finished.

Hey all, I figured I'd post these up. OP was able to retrofit his truck and it looks pretty good.

Solid work..thats the thing about modding a truck that is not modded by many or discontinued. We can bug and call the companies and they may let us be guinea pigs of new products. Just like that company in So Cal making roll pans right now. Pretty cool..

Thanks FrenicX for uploading those pics. I have been meaning to get them on here but have been really busy. Thanks for the props guys I got my tail lights installed too. I will post pics later. I will be painting my rims black this weekend or next I will probably wait to post pics until then. The website I used for parts is www.theretrofitsource.com check them out. They are very helpful and fast shipping. They are located in Atlanta. They give a military discount too with a working .mil email account. If you have any questions about what I used feel free to ask.
