Bed Repair
Does anyone know if you can replace part of the bed on 07 Dakota SLT, 6 cyl ?? The passenside side has been hit for a second time. I was not too happy with the 1st repair, and now that its been hit again, I would rather just put a new side on it. Are the sides replaceable, or do you have to replace the entire bed? Also anyone know a good body parts source in Columbus, GA area or online? Used Dakota parts after 1999 do not exist in Columbus, GA. Aftermarket bed styles would also be an option if anyone knows any good places.
I would think the sides are replaceable. Any 05+ Bed should fit, as long as its the same Body Type (Club Cab or Quad Cab) As they wont fit on each others frames.
I had my Pass. Side repaired 7 or so months after I bought my truck

Check with your closest Certifit dealer, which looks like Atlanta (forest park) (404) 363-4222 to see if they carry the panel. The website won't show it. Their parts are usually pretty cheap.
I have a repair aswell on my drivers side that I'm not too happy with, the paint doesn't match very well.

Unless you can do all the work yourself, you would probably find it cheaper to get a whole bed from an auto salvage yard than to get the quarter panel and get it welded in, get the body work done and then painting.

Now they also priced repainting (or touching up) a scratch it the rear bumper from it, and removal of my toolbox and backrack, then also a new set of 4 mudflaps. I told them I would take off the toolbox, Backrack, Repaint the bumper and Didnt need the mudflaps. I made $450

I remember that story, around here, I'm pretty sure I never would have heard from the person again, so I call the popo for anything. You had the advantage of knowing where they live though lol.
Cost me $3000 to fix both my parents 2000 Dakota, and his 2010 F150.
His cost $1200 for a new chrome bumper and such, $1600 to fix my parents, We had to replace the Hood, Grille, Grille bracket, Lwr and Upr Rad Supports, Rad, Headlights, Turn signals, and Both Fenders (Painted by Dodge to)
