Default Different mirrors?

Just out of the blue I noticed my driver side does not have "objects in mirror are closer than they appear." Noticed my passenger side does. There was damage done to the passenger side awhile back. I don't think this is normal?

All vehicle passenger side mirrors different than the drivers side in the US. This is due to your distance from the mirror, drivers side being a planer mirror, and passenger side being a convex mirror.

Eh oh well. Just was making sure this wasn't a fault of something else.
