Default 3rd Gen Manual Transmissions with V8?

Did they make any 3rd generation V8 dakotas with a manual transmission?
Do they make any with the High Output 4.7?

2006 was the last year you could get a 4.7 with a Getrag Trans (Manual)...

This is where the 3.7 guys got lucky.

The real question is, is the 3.7L manual trans the same as the 4.7L manual trans?

Mine is a 2006 ST with the getrag 6spd manual and a 4.7 v8.
There is a post on here for a nightrunner with a 6spd and 4.7, but I am not sure if that's an HO...
Here it is: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...06-dakota.html

I have the 4.7V8 with 6speed transmisson Mine is not the HO motor ... but from all the build write-ups on there for some extra cash you can have just as good if not better than a stock HO motor ... I'll sell you My truck https://dodgeforum.com/forum/car-tru...-carolina.html

That Night runner edition was not an HO motor, that's the only thing missing on that truck, other than not being a quad cab.

According to Dodge:
The High Output 4.7-liter engine was available only on SLT and Laramie models and required an automatic transmission.

Yes it is, the Getrag 238 was used on both the 3.7 and 4.7.

Is the spline and bellhousing the same? I know the 3.7 is like the v8 minus two cylinders so I would guess so, kinda like GM's 4.3 to the 350, both are 90 degree engines.
