Default 08 4X4 standard trans VIN # Needed PLEASE

Every time I go to the dealer for parts they ask for my VIN#.
Every time I tell the SAME guys the truck was an automatic but I want parts for a standard since I did the swap.
Now I'm trying to get a new steering column bezel and they say that without a VIN # they cant order it.
My 08 has a tilt wheel so it has a recess in the bezel for that on the left side of the column. The one they had for a standard truck did not have the recess for the tilt lever.

Anyone have an 08 Dakota 4X4 with standard trans and tilt wheel that they can share the VIN # for?

Did they have a standard in 08? I think you'd be ok giving them any 05 to 12 standard vin that had tilt wheel, not 100% on that though.

1D7HW42N56S675024 here's one from a 2006 standard 4x4. Your bezel should be the same, dunno about any other parts.

Thanks FrenicX.
So yours has the relief on the side for the tilt wheel?

The one that vin came from does, mine does aswell. But I'm automatic. That vin is actually from the night runner truck that was brought up in general chat.

Our dealers here will let us return if they can sell it new.

Ok, so now you've really piqued my curiosity. You have an '08 that you swapped the slush box for a manny tranny? How much of a pain in the *bleep* was that? Several things needed that come to mind: Adding a clutch pedal assembly, slave and master, cutting floor board for the shifter, etc, and...possibly the most difficult part...swapping out the PCU or reconfiguring the current one for the manual trans. Info please!
