before you install just tape off/take apart and paint the grey black

May I ask what paint you used and how you prepped the surfaces?

On the headlights I used dupli-color perfect match spray paint, black and clear. And I prepped with 1000 wet sand paper.

Step 1. Tape
Step 2. Sand
Step 3. Prime
Step 4. 3 coats of paint
Step 5. 3 coats of clear

looks good man. anyone seen how those look night runner style lights look on a red dak?
ive thought about it,but not sure about that black on bright red. now if it would increase gas mileage or rear wheel hp i could see doing it,lol.

Just find some Night Runner stickers and slap them on. That'll get you at least ten ponies right there.

What about your bumper and grill? same steps? My bumper(s) are fading and want to paint them. Same color truck as you and thought it looked killer.
