how does this stuff not hydrolock the engine? your pouring a liquid into the intake, right? bypassing the injectors so it is not atomizing it...

You pour this **** SLOWLY, The intructions say to pour it slowly well havign someone rev it at like 2-3k i think it was. then once you get close to 2/3 you have them stop, and pour it untill it stalls or is very close to. Leave for 5-10, then restart. I thought the same thing, Last thing I wanted to do was blow it up, but then id get a V8 lol

I've used sea foam several times in several cars and feel like it's always worked very well but mainly through vacuum lines. I've put it in the oil, driven 10 miles and then drained to get all the crap out.

I'd personally worry about any residual crap even after letting it sit and drain. I guess I am just paranoid that way.
