Thumbs up Hipotek Throttle Body

Just got money for graduation and decided to give my truck a present. I just dont know which size to go with. Could y'all give me some insight on the sizes? Also any tips to ordering it, I've heard something about emailing him or something of that matter?

I called him before ordered to get a feel. A lot of guys on here swear by the 68.5 bore, but HiPoTek said 70mm is fine for NA applications since there is a MAF. He claimed that our trucks are able to adjust enough fuel and not run lean. I purchased the 70mm since it was the same price and it runs great for me.

Ya, it was a 15min job. piece of cake. Since I already had a K&N FIPK there wasn't much to do. Just make sure you pull your battery cable to reset your pcm to relearn. I got my core deposit back in like a week or two.

I got the 68.5. The gains between the 68.5 and 70 are not enough to even notice. The hardest part about changing them out is removing one of the sensors, can't remember which one, but one of them is stuck in there real good. (Unless you buy one with new sensors already installed you have to remove the existing sensors from the old TB and install them on the new TB. One is the TPS, can't remember the other one).

You are right jkeaton, I forgot about that part. I do remember it was in there pretty good, but it wasn't a big deal to swap. I think I recall needing a small torx for one of the sensors as well.

I ended up with the 70mm because it was what he had in stock at the time.

I would call him to make sure he has some blanks in stock before you order, or you might be waiting some time.
