iirc it was not held on very well and kept falling off or something. IMO, all your doing with one of these is doubling the amount of hot exhaust manifold air going to your intake. Not good for performance.

Hot air has less oxygen per unit volume - fuel and oxygen give you the BOOMS! More oxygen makes BIGGER BOOMS, less oxygen smaller booms.

Yeah, the dual intakes are only good if you have some kind of ram air setup or if you draw the air from tubing that runs down to the vents in the bumper near the fog light holes. Otherwise..probably going to hurt your gas mileage and make the truck feel laggy when you get on the throttle

it'd look funny but it be a neat little project to say you've done before

Ive already done all the R&D CAI to front bumper research for ya guys https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...d-my-mind.html

Cost me $55 at Lowes and about a 1 1/2 hr to do it.

^ nice work man..never really saw the last post you made with the results. So..the truth! Is it worth it? I kind of want to try to make a ram air setup this summer

For $50, yea its worth it. The mpg gains arent huge, I average about 19.7mpg in mixed city/hwy driving. You will notice additional power at speed for sure though.

I built mine too, out of PVC. Did not notice really anything... Went back to stock, going to get a K&N drop in for it. Selling the one I built to a buddy for $30 for his durango.
