Has anyone added Wheel trim Rings to their stock steel wheels?

Hmmm. Interesting, i am thinking about ditching the plastidip idea

Paint the rims solid gloss black, use some Chrome old school spider caps, and finish with the chrome beauty rings. Wrap them all in some wide burly a/t tires.



And



I kind of think this would look ***** on my red truck.

Also anyone can find a off road truck with this look post it.

Thoughts

I can't wait to see pics of the end result! This is exactly what I was planning for my truck but instead of the spider caps I was just going to use chrome wheel nuts and leave it at that. I think the black and chrome would be a nice balance and should look damn good. A nice straightforward and tough look in my opinion. I also think the gloss black paint will probably look better than the plastidip for this.
