Sleds, that's a pretty clean job, I like the mounting setup. I would really recommend that you consider designing yourself a shroud to give a better distribution of the pushed air across that radiator - as it sits now, the fan has no effect on any of the rad outside of the fan housing & without ducting the air, even the whole fan radius wouldn't be effective. I've used sheet ABS to make fan shrouds, 1/2" thick for the structural portions, held together with ABS solvent and self tapping screws, then 1/8" for the flat ducting and the "ring" around the fan. All my work was done with puller fans where the shroud is easier to design, with a pusher, you need some additional ducting to funnel the air into the fan and then when the fan pushes that against the rad, it should create a bit of pressure against the radiator - this will cause the pushed air to spread across the rest of the fan, giving you a more even cooling effect across the whole rad.
Later this summer I'll be building myself a shroud adapter to mate a Ford Taurus fan to the Dakota radiator - I'm doing this to avoid making the contoured funnel part of the shroud that goes around the fan as well as the mounting ribs that hold the motor with blades.

a little OT but what part of town did you move to? and nothing really helps our trucks out here in the desert. i run down powerline road at about 100mph at 110 degrees ambient and it goes to about 3/4 on the temp gauge.
