Default A/C glitch

Hi all,

hope everyone is doing good today. I purchased my 07 Durango in Feb of this year. I hadn't needed to run the A/C until the last month or so. I've noticed when I am cruising down the interstate at 70 -80 mph with my cruise on that when I turn it off, either by the button on the wheel or tapping the break pedal, my A/C gets warm. Like I had shut it off warm... After turning it off and on multible times via the A/C button it will finally come back on. Any ideas? This is the only time it does it. Ive noticed it won't get as cold while sitting at idle for more than a minute. Could it be something as simple as a relay?
