When I first picked up my truck it had the drl's enabled. I put hid's on and it was messing with them so I took it to the dealer and they turned them off for me. Had to go into the computer and turn them off. They didnt charge me anything. Only took them about 10 min. Im sure it will be the same for turning them on. Myne came on as soon as I put the truck in gear. Id take it to the dealer and see what they can do for you. Hope this helps!

Put you some aftermarket driving lights behind the grill, wire them to a 12 volt supply that is hot when the truck is running. Instant DRL's.

Or, have the dealer turn the factory DRL's on.
Factory DRLs on is Low-powered High beams.

(My sig is Factory DRLs turned on - Truck is running and in Park, They only go out when the Parking Brake is applied)

Yep, Even older cars are required to have them installed, technically.
