I replaced my pads and rotors today with the drilled slotted rotors and the ceramic pads. One thing I noticed, no matter how many times I turned those bolts on the caliper, theyd turn but would not do anything else, I notced there is another bolt moving on the inside of the slider as well, do I need to hodl that in place with vice grips...for future reference? I ended up just taking the caliper bracket bolts off and that removed the whole assembly.... the rotors i needed to fight with because both were rusted on. Loving the Powerstops so far ! Also got attacked by Wasps in the porcess. My face is in pain...

yeah you need to stick a 15 mm, IIRC, open end wrench over that inner bolt in order to lock up the slides. It is annoying but obviously not difficult. did you paint your calipers????

On our 09 Journey, the original pads were warped at 12k. Replaced under warranty by the same crap and they were warped by 30k. By then I said screw it and got some mid-grade rotors from oreilly's and they have lasted. At 59k now, no evidence of warping. Even mid-grade aftermarket stuff is better than oem. All I've done on the Dak is replace the front pads (and they really didn't need it). I bought it with 48k on it and now it has 85k.

I tried with vice grips, anyways ill. Pick up the iirc next time, only sizes I had were 10 8 and 12. Didn't paint the calipers yet. These powerstop pads are very smooth and silent. I notices they didn't come with hardware but fit very snug. The Rotors are great as well. Put 150 miles on them so far.

I replaced mine at 39k because of corrosion spots, I put on new brakes and rotors, autozone mid grades, so far so good. I have a slight quiver while lightly braking, but I am attributing it to the driveshaft since it was there before the brakes were replaced...
