Default A/C oddity

I took my 10 Dodge ram in today. A/C will just shutoff while i'm cruising
**No fan movement
**orange light goes off
...and other times i'll get in my truck and wont come on..but like 5 min it may or may not come on. Thn other times no problem.

Dealer said they hooked to machine and couldnt find a thing wrong.

If I hit a bump it may go off or on....sometimes i can bang the side and it may come on....Would this still be Blower motor Resistor?

I'm confused..you say you have a 2010 Dodge Ram but you info says you have a 2010 Dakota 3.7L? Which is correct?

Might me the blower motor resistor. It's like a $20 dollar part. It's under the dash on the passenger side, to the right of the glove box. It's a pain to replace, but not impossible. I did mine a year or so back, it's just hard to get to is all.

Check the connections on the back of the control panel. Had the same problem, A/C guy couldn't find a problem and suggested that the head unit(control dials) might be bad. Bought a used head unit off ebay for $36, removed dash bezel to do install, only to find one of the connectors was not locked/snapped securely to head. I snapped the connector securely to original head unit and put it back together and haven't had a problem since. That was a few years ago, still have the ebay unit laying around as a spare.
