Default Lift kit and tire size

New to the forum and loving all the knowledge of the people on here. I bought a 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4 last week with bigger than factory tires already put on. My tires are 265/70/17. They don't rub the fenders at all and I was wondering if the previous owner may have put a 2" lift kit on it to accommodate the tires. I know this sounds like a dumb question but I am new to the truck world as I always owned small cars before. BTW, loving my truck. Thanks for the help and looking forward to learning a lot on this forum..

If you have the 17" chrome clad wheels then yeah the OEM tire size was 265/65/17 not a 70 sidewall..I think that tire would probably clear without a leveling kit though, maybe some minor rubbing. Post a picture of the truck and we will be able to tell you right away if you have a leveling kit on it. If you don't own a camera or smartphone or just have no clue how to post a photo then go to the search bar and type in "leveling kit"..you will find threads with photos from before and after leveling kits anywhere from 1.5" - 2.5"

Welcome to the forum. Easiest way to tell is of your truck is completely level front to back, it has a leveling kit

The tires are 265/70/17 Bridgestone Dueler A/T's. I will post a pic when I get home and thanks for the welcomes and replies.

Here is a side shot of my truck. I don't think it has a leveling kit on it. 34" in the front to the fender and 35.5" in the rear.
