2008+ bumper and headlight retrofit to 05-07 Dakotas

My 2010 gets 15.5-17.5 around town. Closer to 15.5-16 if I use the A/C heavily or its winter and I use the remote start. 16.5-17.5 during that narrow Spring and later Fall time when its warm enough you don't need to use the remote start, but cold enough you don't need to use the A/C.
16-18 MPG on the interstate doing 79-82 MPH. If I am on a state highway or another state's interstate and limited to under 65 or 70, I can almost touch 20. Highest so far was 19.95 doing 68 MPH on a 300 mile trip, if I hadn't had to slow down to 45 and speed back up for so many small towns, I'd have done more than 20.
Just won me a Superchips 3865 on eBay. Hopefully I'll be able to eek-out a tiny bit more mileage with it, although the primary purpose is of course more power.

Actually, no it's not. It's an 05-07 body style Dakota with an 08 nose retrofitted on it. The 08 Dakota weren't even out when this was built for the SEMA show in 07. For proof, check the interior. The 08 dash is way different. I should know, I have one.

So far, my 'research' into the hood has hit a dead end. The dealership - whose name keeps coming up in my search to find out more about the Warrior and who built it - is one of the ones that got shut down in Chrysler's restructuring a couple years back.
Not all is lost though. It make take a while to get any results, but I have a couple more ideas in mind. Hopefully one will pan out...

I have an 06 and I routinely get 16MPG.. I have a 4.7V8 with a 6speed manual transmission and 4x4 - From what I understand the 08+ had an improved intake manifold design and has a better potential for greater gas milage. So If it was me and I liked the 08+ body enough to pay to swap it onto an 05-07 .. I'd really try and find an 08+ truck

Potential for better mileage? Maybe. In reality? Hell no. Haha.
I average 13-14 in mostly around town driving on 87 octane in my '08 4x4 (AWD) TRX4 quad cab. My '05 4.7 6 spd actually did slightly better (typical w/ manual over auto).
Yes, the manifold was revamped in '08, along with slight modifications to the throttle body. The heads and combustion chamber were also revamped (close to a "Hemi" now) and supposedly a weight reduction in the lower end for less rotating mass. The result was a 65-70HP jump over the 05-07, but mileage seems to be about the same, even with the huge increase (25%) in power. So I'd say it was a good trade off.
