For those of you who want to run a larger tire, but can't run too wide of a tire, there is a different size available. I have been digging into a 33" tire for running in the winter and have found several tire companies are now manufacturing a 255/85R16. This is a 10" wide 33" tire that might be able to be put on without major trimming for those who don't want to trim. My next set of winters will be this size. Cooper, BFG and a few others are making this size.
