Thank you for the help. No AWD on this truck. So if the teeth match up on the ring and pinion I'm good but if they don't, I have to swap the gears, my grandfather can help me switch out the gears but is it worth my time using the gears that were in my trucks diff. or should I thinck about maybe replacing them with new ones ?

New gears aren't cheap, you can check out the prices on-line. I would see what your old gears look like, it sounds like you gave that diff a pretty big beating, but if you didn't break any teeth and don't see any gouges, and the wear marks look even, you should be OK. If I took the diff apart totally, I'd want to change the bearings and seals, even if the gears look good. Look at anything that goes through a seal, if that surface is scratched, the seal will leak.
