italian, the pre 07s had (starting at the block), exhaust manifold on each side, catilytic convertor on each side, a y, a resonator, a muffler and a rear resonator, and the tailpipe. The 07s and newer had the same minus the resonator after the y.
It goes like this: Exhaust manifold, cats, resonator, muffler, resonator. Some trucks don't have the front resonator, but I believe all models have the resonator after the axle. You can tell pretty easy by just looking. There is a big visual difference between a cat and a resonator. You will know the cat because it has O2 sensor before and after. The resonator does not. If you have a resonator before the muffler, you can hack it out and replace it with a piece of straight pipe. Thats what I did.
Man,all this exhaust talk. I really want to upgrade to the MBRP Cool Duals with a Magnaflow Y-pipe. Don't be surprised to see me follow Bobby and Billy's footsteps gentlemen..AutoAnything needs to have a big sale! I already have a $60 off code though..
Why would you do that? you have a sweet side swept exhaust like no other
