italian, the pre 07s had (starting at the block), exhaust manifold on each side, catilytic convertor on each side, a y, a resonator, a muffler and a rear resonator, and the tailpipe. The 07s and newer had the same minus the resonator after the y.

And for the OP, remove it all from the y back

It goes like this: Exhaust manifold, cats, resonator, muffler, resonator. Some trucks don't have the front resonator, but I believe all models have the resonator after the axle. You can tell pretty easy by just looking. There is a big visual difference between a cat and a resonator. You will know the cat because it has O2 sensor before and after. The resonator does not. If you have a resonator before the muffler, you can hack it out and replace it with a piece of straight pipe. Thats what I did.
