I won't be buying them on Amazon. They want $80 for shipping to Canada.

Not that I know of. The only LED lights can find are the ones that have round bottoms that you twist in. One store (Canadian Tire) did have LED fog lights but not sure if they will work. Currently I am looking at purchase a pair from ebay that are made in china that are called HITHOTWIN.

Yeah I'm starting to get curious too...saw a couple different places selling HID's online and I guess now there are "Digital" HID's that use a slimmer ballast and the Top Of the Line HID's are made by Phillips or something?

Any brand really better than the other, any I should stay away from?

Well, looks like you can't get a better deal on led 194 bulbs then ebay. Currently I am looking at $8 for a 10 pack that includes shipping. I am looking to get a pair of HID from ebay also that come with the ballasts. The sellers are saying that there may be a requirement for a canceller capacitor depending on your vehicle. Does anyone know if the capacitor is required for dakotas?

You need a relay harness, no capacitors

So, do you guys think it'd be a waste of money to go with the Philips brand? The setup looks real nice, and I like the *******ly 100% plug and play hook up.
