Default shaking

I've been dealing with this for years, but i feel like its a little worse. I have shaking in my truck, you can feel it, the arm rest shakes and you can kinda feel it in the steering wheel, its not always but mostly highway i think

does anyone else have this problem or is it just me
this is a video of the armrest shaking, yes it doesnt look like much in a video but it gives you an idea

does your steering wheel shake nearly as bad? mine only shook at steering wheel and it was b/c my tires were out of balance. Check you front end components, steering link, tie rod, and such..someone else will chime in more on that. you said mostly highway, is it from 60-70mph?(thats when mine shook) . Also maybe check the arm rest and make sure its bolted and such? im not sure how they attach.

not as bad, i am getting new tires next month, arm rest is secure, yea 60-70 does it. the bushing on my tie rod ends are like dry and cracking, but other than that they are intact, no sway bar, but hmm that tire balancing sounds interesting tho

ya i mentioned 60-70 b/c thats where almost all out of balance tires show that they are out of balance if you know what i mean. other than that, if you don't want to replace the bushings or don't think they need replacing at the moment, you can spray them with at-205. Its a non petroleum based product that rejuvenates all rubber,(so spray all bushings if you want). Somehow it brings worn rubber bushings back to not almost new but close enough condition(gets rid of squeaks in most cases).

-btw if you are getting new tires anyway i wouldn't bother getting your currents balanced, unless you plan on keeping them. Than again i thinks its around $50 to get all tires balanced i believe. Also i don't know much about the no sway bar thing, i know it increases articulation but im not sure how it affects the suspension "bounciness".

its your music..haha kidding umm I was initially thinking a driveshaft problem but now that I think of tires, you are running the 20's with those giant tires that the dude had on them correct? What are the chances that a Craigslist bargain has perfectly balanced tires? Hmmm...Also, don't have you rear blocks on right now without the leveling kit yet? I think that could be throwing off the truck's balance as well

Mine was tires. Those firestone destination AT's get real bad when they are wearing out. Had them balanced numerous times but the shaking/vibration was still there. I was starting to think it was some other issue, I just lived with it, hoping something would just break then I would know what it was. Then when I got new tires, it went away...smooth as butter, or a babies butt, or a bald...well, you get the idea.

We got snow last year....snowed like 1" one day, then it was 70 the next day...lol...I love these tires. Got close to 10k on them. No wear at all (I rotate every 6 months).

i just got the hancook dynapro rtm rf10's..get them! they are a really aggressive nice and tough looking tire. So far i can't say anything much but it is good in rain, no snow for me. Also can't say anything about tire wear, but supposed to get 50k so we'll see. You can get it in 265/70-17 for $150 a tire and discount tire online. also it is supposed to have this rock deflecting pattern or so to speak, works quite well i think.
