Angry front end rattle

so ive been getting this rattling noise in my front end on the passenger side of my truck...ive had a bad tie rod end for a couple of weeks and just replaced it last night. i thought that the rattle was from it but i replaced it and i'm still getting the noise

i first thought it was a hanger on my exhaust or even something loose in the exhaust, but i just had the system replaced and i double checked, every thing is solid

then i thought maybe the tie rod end but that wasnt it either...so i need some suggestions on what it might be. its definitely coming from the right front quarter of the truck.

i did notice that it only rattles when i hit a bump in the road or when theres a small hump that causes the truck to "rock" back and forth (i guess rock would be a good word) anyways i also noticed it doesnt make the noise if i have pressure on my brakes, and when i last changed my brakes a few weeks ago i didnt have the clips for the ends of the shoes and the old ones were shot so i didnt use any...could the noise be from just the brake pads rattling in the caliper?

it almost sounds like if you took a heavy chain and dropped it on itself...i dont know how else to describe it but does anyone have any ideas? thanks

Check the sway bar end links and ball joints. Normally ball joints squeek and pop, but you never know. Are you 2 or 4 wheel drive? If 4wd also check the cv joints.

I think you already hit the nail on the head with "removed the clips" "Doesn't make noise when there is pressure on the brakes." Grab some new clips at the dealer, a 6 pack of beer and get those clips in there.

have some play in my steering column now tho...going to make a new thread about it soon...but for anybody that sees it here...

the steering is fine and everything seems to be aligned pretty well as i can take my hands off the wheel and stay straight on the road for a good distance...but when i hit a bump or pot hole the wheel shakes and makes a thudding noise...i know nothing about steering columns other than it runs to the steering box and all that. but it definitely feels like the whole column is shaking

leaving for vacation friday morning so i wont be able to mess with it till after i get back unless its an easy fix

Intermediate Steering Shaft.
Went in my parents 2000, and is on the way out in my 05. My issues was it would bind turning. Once greased it was fine but has play, and rattles over bumps
