Default Lift Kit Installation Help

I ordered the 2" leveling kit from total performance online for my 2008 Dakota and I am having some serious issues with the install and can use all the help I can get. I followed the instructions exactly for the removal process and I was able to remove the struts to install the spacers and I then swapped the struts like the directions said and reinstalled them and that as far as I can go. I am at the point to raise the lower control arm to meet the upper and when I go to lift it up with a jack it doesn’t even move it just starts to lift up the whole truck. Both sides are doing it. I thought maybe the strut needs to be collapsed but to be honest I can’t see that stopping it. I am at a total loss, has anyone else ever ran into this problem or done this before and might have some tips?

where r you tring to jack the lower control arm at??? I would suggest trying a diffrent jacking point? I have also heard of ppl using ratchet straps to help with that as well. I juust did my 2.5 from total performannce and mine went smooth.

I was jacking it up right under the control arm and nothing. It's almost like something is jamming and preventing it from lifting. How exactly did you install yours any special tips you can give. My next alternative is to losen the bolts to the control arm and see of that helps. Cause that this point. Wether i have the new spares in or not. I can't get the truck back together. I am wondering if maybe the arm dropped to much and now it's fighting the cv axel

Check this out:

It helps immensely if you can remove the axle from the hub. But the nut is hard to get off with the truck already off the ground.
