Default Stroker Kit

Has anyone ever considered buying a stroker kit? I understand the pros and cons. What do you guys think?

It would be nice for some additional torque. One would have to be carefull of the rpms up top though, the rod angle is severe enough as it is now. The only way to fix this problem is to move the wrist pin up even further to lengthen the rods. This would create less rod angle...however, the question is: how much further can we go up into the meat of the piston with out sacrificing strength and longevity?

The guys as Airram have been working these 4.7s for a while, might send them an email to find out it they have any ideas. They were once working on both the bore and stroke to get 5.4L out of it, just their stroker was 5.2 according to Nick.

Yeah, I thought about that. I might go to my local machine shop and see what they have to say.

Huh, thanks! I'll do that. I think a stroker would be awesome.

I recall reading somewhere that our engines would benefit more from a bore than a stroke. I guess both could be done, but how much bore is too much? The wall is only so thick.
