Default Double Din Installed

Hey guys i thought i would share my latest upgrade. I installed a new Pioneer double din with XM. Im not doing a full write up because there are already a couple good ones on this forum. The only word of advice i do want to add is if you decide to do this to your 05-07 buy the double din mounting kit for the 2010 dakota and it bolts right up with no custom mounting brackets then you just trim your bezel and your good to go. I used body filler to cover the ears from the stock radio and to fit the edges of the HU better. Here are a couple pictures.

The rough bezel:

The test fit:

The final product:

I am also trying to unload my sub encloser also if anyone is interested. I built it to fit the x-cab 3rd gen dakotas. It fits a single 10" and has room to mount the amp behind it. It is just an encloser nothing else. text 630-997-9847

Very cool. Like the RAM logo on it. So you put the body filler on and then painted it? Did you use spray paint or...?

Bezel looks very good. What kind of filler did you use to fill in the ears and where can I buy the filler? Who painted it for you?

Nice. I really need to do something like this. after you're with a truck for so many years it gets kinda boring. Maybe this would spice things up.
