In 2008, I believe they changed the suspension. In 2010, they did it again, each time trying to go for a softer, smoother ride (for a pickup).

 

i dont notice a thing with my 05 love it but coming from a lowered harsh 98 chevy s10 to the quad cab laramie dakota is like going from a pinto to a caddy. i let a friend drive my dads 04 ram 2500 on our road trip from denver co to new orleans the truck has a topper and stage one performance chip. he has driven many cars and told me he was suprised at the ride of that truck he said it was like a huge caddy.

 

My tire guy dropped the tire pressure down to 30lbs in the rear tires. Made a noticeable difference.
